Kenny Ross Subaru is proud to continue its partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. This year, we were thrilled to deliver a warm embrace to patients at AHN Cancer Institute – Hempfield.
Two carloads full of cozy blankets and thoughtful care packages made their way to the institute. It was an honor to personally deliver these items to patients in the waiting areas and witness firsthand the impact of these simple acts of kindness.
Pam Labuda, the AHN Cancer Institute Practice Manager, expressed the gratitude of the patients and staff. She shared, “The patients that received the care packages have loved them and expressed their appreciation of this program.” We couldn’t be happier to hear such positive feedback.
Each care package was filled with items designed to provide comfort during treatment, including cozy socks, engaging coloring books, soothing eye masks, and refreshing water bottles. Our hope is that these small gestures help to brighten patients’ days and provide a moment of respite.
