Kenny Ross Cares Hits the Trail at the WYTC Poker Run!

Every Labor Day, the Westmoreland Yough Trail Chapter (WYTC) of the Great Allegheny Passage brings the community together with their exciting Poker Run! This year, Kenny Ross Subaru was proud to be a part of the fun, cheering on walkers and bikers as they explored the scenic trails.

A Day of Exercise, Community, and Fun!

The Poker Run offered something for everyone. Participants could choose a 4-mile walk, a challenging 12-mile bike ride, or push themselves even further with the 20-mile option. But it wasn’t just about the distance! Along the picturesque trail, participants stopped at designated points to collect cards for their poker hand.

The excitement built as everyone reached the finish line. Cards were tallied, and prizes were awarded for the best hands – not just for the winners, but even for the oldest walker and biker! It was a day of friendly competition, exercise, and celebrating the beauty of the Great Allegheny Passage.

Supporting the WYTC: More Than Just a Poker Run

The annual Poker Run is just one of the many ways the WYTC raises funds for trail maintenance and improvements. They also offer opportunities to purchase engraved bricks for the trail near the train station, and hold a bike raffle throughout the year.
