Kenny Ross Subaru and AHN Hempfield Partner to Deliver Comfort to Cancer Patients

In a heartfelt demonstration of community support, Kenny Ross Subaru has partnered with AHN Hempfield to deliver blankets to cancer patients, spreading warmth and compassion where it’s needed most. This meaningful initiative is part of Subaru’s nationwide Loves to Care program, conducted in collaboration with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Now in its 9th year, Subaru’s Loves to Care initiative aims to bring comfort and hope to those battling cancer by donating specially packaged care items—including blankets and messages of encouragement—to treatment centers across the country. This year, Kenny Ross Subaru chose to support AHN Hempfield, a trusted local healthcare provider known for its commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Representatives from Kenny Ross Subaru arrived at AHN Hempfield bearing dozens of soft, comforting blankets and handwritten notes from customers and employees. The blankets are more than just physical warmth—they’re a symbol of community solidarity with those facing the toughest of journeys. We also had some patient care kits for the nurses to give away to those patients in treatment. The care kits consisted of a collapsible water bottle, coloring book with colored pencils, warm socks, heart-shaped stress ball, and more.

“At Kenny Ross Subaru, we’re proud to be more than a car company—we’re a part of this community,” said a spokesperson for the dealership. “Supporting patients at AHN Hempfield through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative is a way for us to give back and show that no one is fighting alone.”

Through this partnership, Kenny Ross Subaru and AHN Hempfield are helping to raise awareness for blood cancers and support the mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society—to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

Since its inception, Subaru’s Loves to Care program has donated more than 250,000 blankets and 50,000 care kits to hospitals and cancer treatment centers nationwide. This local effort underscores the broader impact of corporate-community partnerships in fostering hope and healing. For more information about the Subaru Loves to Care and our other Love Promise initiatives, visit https://www.kennyrosssubaru.com/subaru-love-promise/ To learn more about supporting blood cancer patients, visit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.
