Norwin Area Meals on Wheels (NAMOW) reached a delicious milestone this year – 25 years of delivering hot meals and heartfelt connections to North Huntingdon residents! Kenny Ross Subaru was thrilled to be a part of their celebratory evening, not just as a guest, but as a longtime supporter.
The event was a wonderful tribute to everyone who makes NAMOW’s mission possible – from the dedicated volunteers to the generous donors. And speaking of generosity, Kenny Ross Subaru was honored to present a donation on behalf of Subaru’s Love Promise program, further fueling NAMOW’s incredible work.
It all began back in 1998, with NAMOW cooking and delivering their very first meals on November 2nd. Fast forward to today, and they’ve grown into a vital community resource, serving over 130 participants. These hot, nutritious meals are a lifeline for residents who are unable to cook for themselves, delivered Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) on a flexible schedule based on each recipient’s needs.
But Kenny Ross Subaru’s support goes beyond financial contributions. Our team members are passionate about giving back, and we volunteer our time to deliver meals twice a month. It’s more than just dropping off a plate of food – it’s about bringing a smile, offering a helping hand with the mail, or simply lending a listening ear. The connections we make with NAMOW’s recipients are truly heartwarming.
