Spreading Holiday Cheer: Kenny Ross Subaru and Fox’s Pizza Den Team Up for Local Family

The holidays are supposed to be a time of joy and togetherness, but for some families, making ends meet can be a struggle, especially after facing unexpected challenges. This year, Kenny Ross Subaru and Fox’s Pizza Den in North Huntingdon came together to ensure a local family didn’t have to face the holidays alone.

It all started with a social media post from Fox’s Pizza Den. Recognizing the need in their community, they put out a call to action, asking if anyone would be interested in helping families facing hardship during the holidays. Jessica Gesmond, Inventory Manager at Kenny Ross Subaru, saw the post and knew this was the perfect opportunity to spread some holiday cheer.  She shared the post with General Manager Jimmy Lokar, and together they decided to lend a helping hand.

The family they chose to support was a single mother with two daughters, ages 12 and 15.  Life had thrown them a curveball when one of the girls’ grandparents passed away, forcing the mom to miss work and take on a second job to make ends meet.

Jessica summed up our feelings when she said “Knowing you’re helping a family in need always makes my heart feel warm, especially around the holiday season.”
