About Shop with a Cop
Founded by Trooper Steve Lamani over a decade ago, Shop with a Cop is a nonprofit program that brings joy to children who have experienced hardship. Every Christmas season, state troopers and local officers partner with children to shop for gifts like bikes, dolls, and games. This special event provides an opportunity for these young ones to interact with the officers who have helped them during difficult times.
Making a Difference in Our Community
Six local Walmart locations generously host these events, creating a festive atmosphere filled with fun and excitement. By supporting Shop with a Cop, we’re not only spreading holiday cheer but also strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the community.
