The Kenny Ross Subaru team recently joined the Westmoreland Yough Trail Chapter (WYTC) for their annual Trail Appreciation Day, celebrating the scenic beauty and community spirit of the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP). Despite the cooler weather, the event drew a fantastic crowd of outdoor enthusiasts to West Newton, PA.
The Great Allegheny Passage is a 150-mile rail-trail that stretches from Pittsburgh, PA to Cumberland, MD, offering breathtaking views and a variety of recreational activities. The WYTC is a dedicated group of volunteers who maintain and improve the 10.5-mile section of the GAP that runs through Westmoreland County.
On Trail Appreciation Day, the WYTC volunteers provided delicious food, while Kenny Ross Subaru contributed water and snacks to keep everyone energized as they biked, ran, and walked along the trail. The event highlighted the importance of preserving these natural spaces and fostering a sense of community.
